Ahold Delhaize USA Launches Employee App ADUSA Connect

The app "is an exciting step toward a modern, omnichannel employee experience, giving employees the choice of how they access information. The app reinforces our commitment to communication and collaboration as we continue to strengthen a connected and engaged culture within Ahold Delhaize USA," Christy Phillips-Brown, vice president of ADUSA Communications and Omnichannel Service Center, said in a statement.
In addition to delivering important updates and resources to employees, the app also allows employees to share photos and post local updates, which colleagues can comment on and respond to.
According to the grocer, ADUSA Connect is currently only available to employees of Ahold Delhaize USA Services.
Other grocers have also launched similar employee apps.

Meanwhile, Sprouts' new employee app gamifies training by providing employees with"fragmented" training content. An executive at the specialty grocer said at NRF that the app has reached a utilization rate of 93% to 94%.
